Warranty Information
Sod installations come with a 30-day guarantee to ensure the grass has successfully rooted. After the initial 30 days, the health of the lawn is no longer in our control and the responsibility of the lawn health falls on our clients. Our warranty is only valid assuming the lawn has been properly cared for (instructions will be sent with the invoice) and will be voided if there are signs of neglect.
If concerns arise, please notify our office as soon as possible and we will arrange for a Team Member to do a site visit to assess the lawn. We may recommend corrective measures before a full replacement is needed.
The guarantee covers the new sod area, however, there are exceptions:
- The warranty does not cover naturally occurring thinning during the winter months. Expect some thinning over the winter based on the severity of the weather. Often a spring top dress and seed is required for a healthy lawn.
- The warranty does not protect against moss, clover, or weed growth in the new lawn. Areas next to acidic plants, or shaded areas are especially susceptible to moss. Most lawns will experience some levels of moss growth each year that will need to be killed and removed
