Who we are

Atkinson Landscaping was founded in the fall of 2014 in Surrey, BC by friends Matt Atkinson and David Endacott. The company started with one truck solely focused on residential lawn mowing for friends and family members. The company now employees an amazing team of up to 20 people with a fleet of trucks offering many landscaping services. Through hard work and dedication, the company still continues to grow and progress from its humble beginnings.

Atkinson Landscaping focuses on offering an industry-leading customer experience. Upon first contact, it is our goal to have an estimator meet with you and provide a quote within 24 hours. Once the quote is approved, it is immediately scheduled into our system and a Project Manager is assigned to the job. If any questions arise while working with us, we have an Office Team in place to help!

Meet our team

The Atkinson Landscaping Crew

Dave E.

Dave works in the office and helps with the general operations of the business with a specific focus on the construction department. His favourite thing about Atkinson is the people he gets to work with. In his free time you can typically find him on the golf course!

Matt

Matt is a member of the office team with a focus on the landscape maintenance side of the operation. Matt is passionate about running a business that develops people both professionally and personally. On the weekends you can find Matt singing country music around a campfire with his friends.

Dave H.

Dave works in the office with a primary focus on sales and estimates. He has been working in the landscaping industry for approximately 8 years, but starting with Atkinson in the fall of 2018, and has enjoyed learning new skills throughout that time. He is recently married and loves exploring the mountains.

Kaella

Kaella works in our office, focusing mainly on the day to day logistics. She has worked for Atkinson since the beginning of 2020 and is loving every minute of it! Her favorite parts of the job are the people she works with and seeing client’s dream landscaping projects come true. In her free time she enjoys spending time on the water and hanging out with friends.

Steve

Steve works in our maintenance department! He loves working outside, a good team atmosphere, and the satisfaction of each day seeing a job get completed. In his free time, Steve likes to golf and enjoys spending time with his grandson!

Adam

Adam works mainly in our construction department. He has worked at Atkinson since the fall of 2019 but has 5 years of experience in construction and landscaping. Adam enjoys working outside regardless of the weather. Adam is recently married and enjoys mountain biking, hiking and playing with his dog!

Ryland

Ryland works in both the maintenance and construction departments at Atkinson, occasionally helping out on strata. He started with the company this Spring and has quickly learned many different skills. His favourite type of work is patios or sod. When he is not working, he is typically golfing or skateboarding!

Cody

Cody is one of our construction Team Leads. He has worked with Atkinson Landscaping for the past 3 years and oversees many projects. His favourite thing at work is helping improve efficiencies on and off the job sites to get projects done quicker! In his down time, he likes doing photography and hanging out with his two corgis, Luna and Ginny!

Mack

Mack works both on Strata and on Maintenance Projects as a Team Lead. He enjoys mowing large properties and making them look perfect! When Mack isn’t working, he plays rugby. One day, Mack hopes to travel the world!

Travis

Travis wears many hats at Atkinson Landscaping. He works both in maintenance and construction. On top of field work, Travis is our social media and marketing coordinator. When he isn’t at work, Travis enjoys playing guitar, exploring British Columbia and spending quality time with his girlfriend and their calico cat, Calli.

Roman

Roman has worked with Atkinson since the end of 2020. He loves animals and wood working. In the future, he hopes make a career owning his own workshop designing and building custom wood furniture.

Josh

This is Josh. He works in both maintenance and construction and helps out around the yard when needed! He enjoys climbing and being in nature and gets a rush from jumping off cliffs!

Erik

This is Erik, he is currently working on getting his BBA! In his free time he loves to watch sports (Canucks in particular), go fishing, and most of all, spend time with his friends. Erik plans to have a business degree in the next couple years and looks forward to starting a career!

Duane

Hey I’m Duane. I work for the install department. I’m working towards getting my red seal in landscape horticulture and in my spare time I like to play guitar and banjo.

Dawson

This is Dawson, he has worked at Atkinson Landscaping since September of 2018. Dawson works primarily as a Team Lead in the maintenance division. His favourite part of his work is seeing the beauty at the end of a project! Outside of work he coaches basketball, enjoys spending time with his dog, Lylah, camping, and staying active by playing any sport available to him!
